Bolivar is a university town, meaning we are blessed with college students...both local and from all around the world attending Southwest Baptist University. At FBC, we provide many opportunities for spiritual growth, community, and service in our Young Adult Ministry
Core Groups
Core Groups are an important part of Young Adult Ministry, meeting on Sunday mornings and providing opportunities for college students and young adults to grow in faith and community. Through studying God’s Word, meaningful discussion, and building relationships with others, we desire to create a place where young adults can belong, grow, and walk through life together.
Fellowship Events
Every two weeks, YA hosts College Supper, which is a time of fellowship for young adults, featuring a free meal, worship, and teaching. We provide a place to build friendships and feel at home in our church family!
Throughout the year, Core Group leaders also host fellowship events, from gatherings in homes to outings and special events, creating opportunities to connect and build community. You can find any upcoming events on our church calendar!
Service Opportunities
We also have plenty of opportunities for college students to get involved, putting hands and feet to their relationship with Jesus. In all of this, our goal is to help our students learn how to know Christ and make Him known.
